Digital Encounter on elEconomista

You can find this encounter here.

DANIEL DIGES
The actor and singer will talk about the musical "Los Miserables" and the next edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.

#1 Hi Dani! I’m Elsa, from Madrid. First I want to give you my congratulations for all of your successes and I wish you many more. Well, my question is next: what part of the musical is your favorite? Which part do you like the most and which the least? A big kiss!
'ABC café' is my favorite. And the one that I like the least is the final part, where they all dance a waltz and I play the waiter. But I like the whole play very much.

#2 Hi, what’s up? Dani, which character or musical in general is the one that you liked playing the most? And in the future, which is the musical of your dreams in which you would like to participate? A big kiss, Rosnaz from Madrid
My favorite is the character that I’m playing right now and the Galileo of Queen also was very good. I would like to do Phantom of the Opera.

#3 Dani, have you already decided which songs are you going to sing in the show Poker de voces? I’m looking forward to listening to you, Gero, Ignasi and David. Surely it will be an unbelievable and unrivaled show. Kisses from a ''pequeñita'' from Zaragoza. MªJosé Gimeno
Yes, we already know what we are going to sing. We will sing some things as a group and also some individually. The songs are turning out very good. On the 25 of April I’m expecting you all in the Calderon.

#4 Hi, Dani! What do you think about the system of the selection of our next representative in Eurovision? Do you think it’s fair? A hug!!
It looks good to me. I like it because the casting was very good and they have swept away the 'freaks', so I like it more than before.

#5 Who do you see with the most possibilities to be your successor in ESC?
I will see it all on Friday, but it is very difficult. So, it’s best that I decide it on Friday, when I hear them I will know it more clearly.

#6 Hi, Dani! Would it be good that 'Los Miserables' stays for one season more? Would you like to continue playing the role of Enjolras or if it’s possible some other role? A hug from Germany. Tanja
It will be whatever God wishes! I like the musical very much. It’s good to interpret a character no more than a year, the change is good.

#7 Hi, Dani! We are from your hometown. To tell you that we are proud to have a countrymen like you and to have another one this year in Eurovision. Do you have some favorite for Eurovision this year? Does it bring you memories of the last year when you knew that you will go? When will we have you in Alcalá again? Kisses from Ana, Iris, Lidia and Nadia. We love you, you are the best!
I love you too! The truth is that it is giving me a bit of envy, but for now I don’t have any favorites.

#8 Hi, Dani! What does it mean for you to get on the stage every day and to represent such a great musical as 'Los miserables'? Why should people go to see it? Do the people stop you on the street now more than before? You are great very great. Kiss!!!!!
Thanks! It’s nice when people stop you on the street to tell you that they have seen you in the theatre. It is very gratifying that people know you for you work.

#9 Singer, actor, presenter.....On which side are you more comfortable? What would you like to do (professionally) that you still haven’t done? A hug. Juan Manuel
I like everything that is art, but today what I like the most is to sing and to compose my songs directed to the audience, that's priceless.

#10 How do you feel being a part of the cast of this wonderful musical? What do you have in common with your character? Good luck. A kiss, handsome, keep it up
That what we have in common is that if I want to do something, I do it, I’m brave and I think that my character has these traits too. But his way of being is not quite like mine.

#11 Dani, how can we know when do you play in the musical? I’m coming from far to see you, on the first place you and then the play of course, he,he. Kissesss. Eli
If I don’t have a concert or gala, I play every day.

#12 On the 25 of April opens the show 'Poker de voces', together with a three other protagonists of los miserables. Will there be a tour of Poker de voces across the Spain?
At this moment we don’t know, but there are a lot of people interested in project.

#13 Great Dani! What do you think is more important for coming to be an actor in a musical so great as 'Los miserables'? To have a great voice or to be a great actor?
I think it’s a mix of those two things. For 'Los Miserables' you need both things, but that always depends on the musical.

#14 After the show, after attending to your fans, what is the last thing of the day that Daniel Diges does?
The last is to come home and sit at my piano and compose. I like a lot just staying home and for example watching a movie...

#15 How do you manage to transmit so much of energy and good vibes on the stage, even when you personally don’t have a good day, or you are exhausted?
My character transmits a lot of power, he is a warrior, so depending on the day I attempt to take advantage of what I have inside, but always respecting what would the character think.

#16 To all of us who have discovered you for the first time in Eurovision, you made us experience it with more emotion than ever. It didn’t occurre to you to repeat the experience in the future? I believe that the festival needs more people like you.
Thanks! At this moment no, I have so many things on my mind with so many projects and for now I want to deal with this, we’ll see again in a few years.

#17 Greetings Daniel. I wonder whether you give in equally every day, or is it true that saying in the world of musicals that the Saturday night is something special.
With the other musicals that is to be noticed, but with this one every show is similar in energy, you don’t notice the difference that much.

#18 Hi Daniel, I would like you to point out what is the influence that the musicians have in comparison to other musicals, and whether you think they are sufficient for the musical.  Very soon I will see you.
The musicians are a very important pillar, and because of that the casting for musicians was also very good, and not just the one for the actors. The music is fundamental.

#19 Hi Daniel, I love your first disc and I’m sorry that it hasn’t been listened and promoted so much. Is it really so bad in the musical world, and is it all so hard? Don’t ever change
Unfortunately yes, in music my disc today is one of those that have worked out, even more, it worked out very well for how the things are going on now, but even the people with lots of years of experience haven’t had a good result. The good is to sustain yourself, but yes, the things are not going quite well. The radios have to take more stakes with the music and not to always play the same songs

#20 You have worked in practically every artistic sphere. At this moment you embody Enjolras in 'Los Miserables' and at the same time you find youself in other projects like 'Póker de Voces'. It’s without a doubt that you are striving to your maximum. What else can we expect from you?
I'm super happy with everything I'm doing and to keep writing songs for other artists and that the projects that I’m doing remain on their feet.

#21 Living with so much turmoil, with so little rest, from one place to another, with stress and all so timed ... Would you change all that and your fans for a simpler life? For one routine without a fame?
At this moment no, I’m doing just fine. Maybe with time I would like to have a little bit more time for myself.

#22 Hi, Dani, I enjoyed seeing you in Los Miserables on February 5th, I really liked the musical and we, your 'pequeñitas' applauded you very much. My question is... After the Poker de Voces (and I’m anxiously waiting the April 25th so that I can see it) are you going to do those concerts of café theater that you commented once? I would like to see you again singing the songs of your disk and to enjoy in it as much as in the concert in Alcalá. Kisses from LOURDES from CÓRDOBA
The café theater I have for now abandoned, it was a very original idea, it’s something I will do sometime later. It’s pending!

#23 Hi, Dani, congratulations for this piece of the musical! I enjoyed in it very much and I would like to see it again! I already have my ticket for 'Poker de Voces', can you tell us in advance something about the songs you are going to sing? Is there some that you would really like to sing that day? LOURDES from Córdoba
We will make a medley of different songs for all four of us, the rehearsal sounds incredible. I sing several solos, among them 'Me cuesta tanto olvidarte' ('It Is So Hard To Forget You').

#24 Hi, Dani! I really like you in your role in the musical! It’s impressive! I loved it! We have heard that you might be selected for the next musical 'The Lion King', can you tell us something in advance? LOURDES
I don’t know if in the end I’ll continue with 'Los Miserables' or this will come out. For now I’m preparing myself physically for if it finally comes...

#25 What would you choose to be, actor or singer? What do you think about the 'Sinde Law'? Greeting
I totally agree with the 'Sinde Law', the free download does not lead anywhere, it needs people to work for it and they don’t do it for free.

#26 Have you ever thought about what would you like to do or what will you dedicate yourself to when you retire from the showbiz?
One of my dreams is to produce my own shows, it’s something I would really like, to be able to make new things, to create new musicals. Now I’m making the music for one musical that opens in September, it’s called 'Una noche de miedo' ('A night of fear').

#27 Do you have some secret favorite for this Friday? A greeting and kisses from Germany. Tanja
This Friday I’ll finally sing, and I know that many people are waiting for that.

#28 Dani, I just heard that on Thursday you’ll turn 100 performances.... Congratulations!!!! And to be many more... Tell us something about 'Poker de voces'? Surely it will be something... incredible, huge, unforgettable... like everything you do. Big kisses, Alba B.
It will be something very nice, something that we don’t know shall we repeat because we have other projects, but the experience of sharing the scene with them will be something fantastic. If you want more information you can enter in www.pokerdevoces.com

#29 If you have to make a wish, what would it be?
My wish has always been to be happy whatever I do, sometimes more wealth doesn't make you happier....

#30 What do you think about the termination of the program Operación Triunfo for low audience? Greetings
I feel very sorry for it, it’s a program that I've always liked. Surely the solution is to make it in some other format.

#31 Hello! The Phantom of the Opera – which is my favorite play – it was created for you! Is there a chance that this can be realized in the near future? Good luck! Alla.
I don’t know, but it would be cool!!

#32 It’s a shame that of Jimmy Jump in your performance... Personally, I would have given him a nice kick (hehehe) in that moment. But you were very professional, you kept your composure and ignored him completely. Greetings from Barcelona!
I don’t have words for him, I can’t find them...

Farewell

Thank you very much, it is a pride and satisfaction to know that there are people following you, that gives me more strength to go forward. I'm glad that you are there in everything I do.
